Roaring Jaguar TV

Live from Jefferson School it's RJTV!

The home of news and views that won't make you snooze!

Roaring Jaguar TV, also known as RJTV, is a news show created by the 5th graders at Jefferson School. Students work as reporters to produce approximately 5 episodes a year. Episodes range in length from 10 – 20 minutes, and focus on the important events at Jefferson School. RJTV is broadcast throughout Jefferson School as a podcast, but it’s also shared on our website, and sometimes on Hilltopper TV.

This innovative program was started in 2009, and we’ve built upon our successes each year. Our goals for RJTV are:

• To learn about being a reporter

• To develop strong public speaking skills

• To increase confidence

• To foster media literacy

• To gain skills in technology
